Over The Top is a 1987 film starring Sylvester Stallone who plays Lincoln Hawk, a driver who enters a world arm wrestling in Las Vegas, hoping to win a new truck and $100,000 to start his own trucking company.
SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT:
Smokey and The Bandit is a 1977 American road action comedy starring Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, Jackie Gleason, Jerry Reed, Pat McCormick, Paul Williams, and Mike Henry. Big Enos, wants to drink Coors at a truck show, but in 1977 it was illegal to sell Coors east of the Mississippi River without a permit. Truck Driver Bo “Bandit” Darville agrees to pick up the beer in Texas and drive it to Georgia within 28 hours.
WHITE LINE FEVER:
White Line Fever is 1975 action crime film starring Jan-Michael Vincent. When Carrol Jo Hummer returns from fighting in Vietnam, he returns to Tucson, Arizona where he intends to become an independent truck driver. After he borrows money to buy his own truck, he learns that he is expected to smuggle goods during his runs in order to pay off his debt. Not willing to participate in illegal activities, Carrol and his pregnant wife are threatened by crooks, and he must fight against corruption.
CONVOY:
Convoy is a 1978 American road action-comedy film starring Kris Kristofferson, Ali MacGraw, Ernest Borgnine, Burt Young, Madge Sinclair, and Franklyn Ajaye. The movie is based on the 1975 country song “Convoy” by C.W. McCall. Truck Driver Martin “Rubber Duck” Penwald and his friends Pig Pen, Widow Woman, and Spider Mike use their CB radios to warn one another of the presence of cops.
BIG RIG:
