What are the qualifications I need to meet to attend school at Witte Bros. Driving School?
- 21 years old
- No DWI or DUI in the last 3 years
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, with no more than 2 in the last 12 months
- No more that one serious violation in the last 5 years
- Stable work history and good references from former employers
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must have CDL A permit
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Two forms of ID (birth certificate, SS card or pass port)
- Pass a pre-employment DOT physical, DOT drug screen, and job functioning evaluation
When is class?
- Monday – Friday; 7:30am – 3:30pm
Does Witte Truck Driving School offer night classes?
- No.
How long is the school program?
- 5 weeks

How much do your drivers earn?
- Our first-year drivers make an average of $45,000-$65,000 a year.
Will I get paid while in school?
- No.
How many instructors do you have?
- We have three instructors with many years of experience.
Do you have lodging?
- Yes we have onsite lodging for students who live more than 50 miles away. We have six dorm rooms with beds (you will need to bring your own bedding).
What should I bring if I plan on staying the dorms?
- Bedding, food, toiletries and clothing that is weather appropriate.
What is around for groceries and food?
- Walmart, Aldi, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Walgreens, Arby’s, Dairy Queen, Subway, McDonald’s, Burger King, ect.
Can I drive for Witte after school and training?
- Yes, once you complete your schooling you have guaranteed employment with Witte Bros.
